• Two-tank water system: Separates clean water from collected dirty water during floor washing.

Design and Build Quality

The Tineco FLOOR ONE SWITCH i5 Stretch features a cordless design for convenient movement between rooms. Its modular construction lets you adapt the appliance to different cleaning tasks. Use the floor-washing configuration for compatible hard floors, then switch to handheld vacuuming for smaller dry-cleaning jobs.

The flexible floor-cleaning head reclines up to 180 degrees to help reach under low furniture. Dual-sided edge cleaning helps remove dust and dirt near walls and baseboards. Its charging dock also provides a designated place to store and recharge the appliance between cleaning sessions.

Wet and Dry Floor Cleaning Performance

This cordless floor washer is designed to vacuum and wash compatible hard floors simultaneously. Its motorized roller collects everyday debris while applying cleaning solution and water to the floor. This approach helps reduce the need to vacuum and mop separately.

The separate water tanks keep clean water apart from collected dirty water. The clean-water tank holds approximately 0.8 liters, while the dirty-water tank holds approximately 0.72 liters. This system supports continuous floor washing while helping prevent collected dirt from returning to the clean-water supply.

With suction power rated at up to 20,000 Pa, the appliance is designed for routine household messes. It is suitable for compatible sealed hard floors, including tile, laminate, linoleum, and appropriately sealed wood surfaces. Always check your flooring manufacturer's cleaning recommendations before use.

Detachable Handheld Vacuum for Everyday Cleaning

The SWITCH system extends beyond floor washing with a separate handheld vacuum configuration. This makes it useful for quick dry-cleaning tasks around the home. Depending on the supplied attachments, you can use the handheld unit to clean furniture, upholstery, narrow gaps, and other accessible areas.

The included crevice tool helps reach tight spaces, while the 2-in-1 attachment supports more flexible cleaning. A dedicated dustbin collects dry debris during handheld vacuuming. Always assemble the correct components and install the required filter before operating the handheld unit.

Battery Life and Charging

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides cordless cleaning without requiring a power outlet during operation. Published specifications for this model indicate up to 40 minutes of floor-washing runtime and up to 65 minutes in handheld vacuum mode. Actual runtime varies with the configuration, selected power level, floor conditions, and cleaning habits.

Recharging takes approximately 4–5 hours under the listed specifications. For best results, return the appliance to its charging dock after cleaning. Charge the unit fully before longer cleaning sessions and follow the supplied manual's battery-care instructions.

Self-Cleaning and Brush Maintenance

The FlashDry self-cleaning system helps reduce manual brush maintenance after floor washing. Activate the self-cleaning cycle according to the instructions to rinse the floor washer's brush system. The drying function then helps dry the brush with heated air.

The DualBlock anti-tangle design helps reduce hair buildup around the roller. However, occasional inspection and maintenance remain important. Empty the dirty-water tank promptly, clean removable components as directed, and replace filters or rollers when required.

Ease of Use and Everyday Applications

The Tineco FLOOR ONE SWITCH i5 Stretch is designed to make everyday cleaning more flexible. Its cordless format and convertible design help reduce the need to keep several separate appliances close at hand.

• Kitchen and dining areas: Clean compatible hard floors after everyday spills and meal preparation.
• Living rooms: Pick up routine debris and wash suitable hard flooring.
• Hallways and entryways: Tackle dust and everyday dirt tracked indoors.
• Under low furniture: Use the lay-flat floor head to reach beneath suitable beds and sofas.
• Furniture and upholstery: Use the handheld vacuum with the appropriate supplied attachment.
• Edges and narrow spaces: Use edge-cleaning features or the crevice tool where suitable.
